The Girls in Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg in Tennessee is one of my favorite places to visit.  There's a ton of fun things to do, lots of great shopping, and, most importantly, awesome food!  The best part: it's not a super long drive from here, but it's still far enough to be a nice getaway for a few days.

So, a few weekends ago, Trista, Devin, and I took a long weekend and headed down to Tennessee!

I really wanted to visit during the fall, and it ended up being the perfect weekend to go down!  We rented a really nice cabin and had a really relaxing mini vacation.

We only got lost once....

So sometimes when you're up in the mountains trying to get somewhere, you're GPS will start telling you that four wheeler trails are roads.  This happened to us.  We ended up on a gravel road and our GPS told us to drive off a cliff.  True Story.  This is why maps are helpful, guys.  Ah, technology.

Once we found our way out of the woods, though, we had an awesome time hiking and enjoying the leaves...

...Riding the Skylift (which is one of my favorite things ever!  I love chairlifts)...

...Seeing some lovely views...

...and eating all of the food!!  Pizza from the Mellow Mushroom is one of my favorite things.  It's SOOOO good.  We ate lefts overs for breakfast in the morning. :-)

We also visited the Salt and Pepper shaking museum, where they had 20,000 salt and pepper shaker sets.  It ended up being an awesome find!

I Love the Fall. <3
